SPCA Visit to the Tui Team Today
For the second half of term one the Tui children have been learning about caring for pets. They have been learning about different types of pets, what they need to be safe and happy and what they can do to care for pets.
Melissa, an animal welfare inspector from the SPCA (and Mrs Rush's daughter) visited this morning. The children learned about what she does for her job, and how she keeps animals safe. They showed that they were really thinking about their learning by asking some really good questions.
Melissa even demonstrated how cats are caught safely using Mrs Heasman's Eeyore toy!
